ALEXEY MEIERTAL
Alexey Meiertal approaches fashion through an experimental and digitally driven design process that often begins on the computer. By combining different software tools, he develops patterns, forms and visual concepts that are later translated into physical garments.
His work merges abstract symbolism with personal and cultural references, placing a strong focus on surfaces, ornamentation and material experimentation. Balancing expressive visual elements with utilitarian references and functional details, Alexey creates garments that remain both conceptual and wearable.
His current collection is inspired by digital worlds and video games, centering around two fictional characters through which he explores textures, hardware and symbolic narratives. Drawing from Slavic heritage, organic patterns and mystical symbolism, the collection creates a universe where digital aesthetics intersect with cultural memory and contemporary fashion.
